Best Loadouts In Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Multiplayer

Modern Warfare 4 has fully released, and there are plenty of new guns and attachments to unlock for this new year of Call of Duty. In this guide, we'll suggest some recommended weapon builds, so you can see exactly which guns and attachments you'll want to focus on unlocking and leveling up early.

Call of Duty's Gunsmith feature returns in Modern Warfare 4. This customization system lets you create five-attachment builds for multiplayer. In addition to the standard five attachments, you can also include the gun's unique Apex attachment.

Apex attachments are special add-ons you can unlock for each gun, which will drastically change how the weapon is used. Apex attachments are similar to the weapon conversion kits found in the recent Call of Duty games, but in Modern Warfare 4 they don't cost one of your attachment slots.

Apex attachments aren’t unlocked until you’ve reached the maximum weapon level for a specific gun. Some of these attachments are a bit wacky and aren't practical add-ons, but others will offer viable bonuses to your weapon.

HAN 86

The HAN 86 assault rifle is one of the best choices for mid-to long-range combat, and this gun is fairly easy to use in multiplayer. The recommended attachments will boost the damage range, improve bullet velocity, and quicken your aim-down-sight speed.

M4

The Hurricane makes the gun lighter and increases the fire rate. It's an optional add-on that's worth trying, but it will change how the weapon handling feels.

VEL 46

In terms of close-range power, the VEL 46 submachine gun is one of the best choices for multiplayer. This SMG is fairly easy to use and provides great mobility for running-and-gunning action across Modern Warfare 4's multiplayer maps. Another powerful choice for submachine guns is the ISO Nightshade. This is another versatile option for close-range combat, as this gun features a fast rate of fire, decent mobility, and is fairly easy to control. The recommended attachments will improve your aim-down-sight speed, boost your ammo count, reduce recoil, and keep you off the minimap when firing.

Optional: Sang Breach is the gun's unique Apex attachment. This add-on is worth considering as it will convert the gun into a pocket-sized shotgun with a 12-gauge undermount. You can only shoot one 12-gauge shell at a time, but that's still a powerful addition for this gun.
