CoD: Port Black Ops 2 Terganggu oleh Peretas yang Mengatur Ulang Akun

The first two Call of Duty: Black Ops games recently launched on PS5 and PS4 as ports of the original games, and hackers haven't wasted any time ruining the nostalgia. Players are reporting that Black Ops 2 is currently not safe from a specific hacker or possibly group of hackers, who are resetting player accounts or changing specific settings.

Hackers are notoriously present in Call of Duty games, especially in the older titles, but this is the more intrusive variety than just the cheaters with aimbot and wallhacks. Players are reporting several issues after encountering player accounts called "C Isn't Sharp" and "Who Isn't Sharp."

Players claim their encounter with these specific gamertags in Black Ops 2 lobbies are causing them to be kicked out of matches, having their rank change, and altered weapon classes. Other more extreme reports claim their account was completely reset or their game was "bricked" so they could no longer play.

Streamer TimTheTatman was seemingly hacked by C Isn't Sharp while livestreaming the Black Ops 2 port, as shown in the clip above from ModernWarzone.

The reported gamertags are notably visible with brightly colored text unlike the normal accounts shown in white. Some players are suggesting others to back out of lobbies if they see these names, while others suggest that backing out quickly doesn't protect anyone from being affected by the hacks.

At the time of writing this, Activision has not commented on the specific issue, but several updates have been made to address previous issues with both of the Black Ops ports. Hopefully there are some security updates that can be made to make the game safer.

Both of the Black Ops ports have proved to be successful for Activision, with CharlieIntel reporting the games have apparently sold over 7 million units combined. From a technical perspective, the Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 ports feel like the bare minimum.
