Get The Best Resident Evil Game For Cheaper Than Ever Right Now

What’s better than tucking into a scary game during Halloween? A horror game where you eventually overcome the fear factor to unleash a rain of bullets on the monsters that tormented you. Resident Evil 4’s remake balances sheer terror with action-packed gameplay, and as one of the best in the franchise, it’s currently cheaper than ever before on PC.

Despite being the fourth mainline entry, Resident Evil 4 doesn’t require previous experience with the series. Playing as once-RCPD rookie turned US agent Leon Kennedy (look at our boy growing up), you’re tasked with investigating a rural village in Spain to save the president’s daughter, Ashley, while dealing with a cult infected with the Las Plagas parasite.

Even with plenty of training and having survived the zombie apocalypse in Raccoon City, Leon is still dealing with dangerous threats, including chainsaw-wielding masked men. Ammunition is scarce and death is always close, but Resident Evil 4 manages to balance horror and action in a way that helped redefine the series.

The original version is still as solid as ever, but the 2023 remake makes it look better than ever, with improved pacing and enhanced visuals. It’s a truly beautiful remake, as far as monstrous stalkers chasing you down can look beautiful, and it’s the definitive way to play Resident Evil 4 for me now.

If you’re looking to pick up a new horror game to play during Halloween, or you simply want to add another Resident Evil to your library (I can’t blame you), you can grab Resident Evil 4 for just $8.79 / £7.69 at Fanatical, netting you a Steam key for the game at a lower price than Steam’s current sale. Spain might be scary, but this deal certainly isn’t.
