Grand Theft Auto 6 had its big debut on Netflix today, alongside coverage from other international outlets. That means tons of details for the anticipated game, including an estimated playtime. According to Rockstar North's Rob Nelson, his own playthrough lasted about 80 hours.

That came from an in-depth New York Times report, which detailed the immersive aspects of the game. You'll be doing all the things we saw in the trailer like robbing banks and getting into car chases, but Nelson said he wanted players to be able to really live in the world, with all that entails.

“I hope that there will be people that want to get up, have a cup of coffee, shower, get dressed, go out for a little exercise," Nelson told NYT. "Interact with some people, explore, maybe get into some trouble. Rob some places, make some money."

He said his own playthrough took 80 hours, which included the main story and some "optional goals with narrative ramifications." In the context of the immersive aspects, that could mean an 80-hour playtime includes some leisure activity, instead of just the critical path.
