Cara Parry di Mortal Shell 2

Are you wondering how you can parry in Mortal Shell 2? Parrying is a mechanic that lets you defend yourself from an incoming blow with an interrupting move. Time it perfectly, and you’ll leave your opponent reeling. It’s also quite integral in most souls-like games. That said, it’s not readily available when you start Mortal Shell 2’s campaign, but our guide will tell you how to unlock it.
The Infinite Seal and the parry maneuver
The Mortal Shell 2 parry function is unlocked via the Infinite Seal, which comes from Marrow Keep. The fortress itself becomes your main hub, as it has several NPCs that help you throughout your journey.

Infinite Seal location
Here’s a quick summary:
- Early in the prologue, you’ll acquire items like the Untarnished Seal and Vatra’s Seal. The former allows you to block attacks, while the latter enables the Harden mechanic where your character turns to stone.
- Eventually, you’ll reach Marrow Keep. The Slayer Seal can also be found therein, but we don’t recommend equipping it. That’s because it disables all achievements, though it can be thought of as a method that lets you change the game’s difficulty.
- The Infinite Seal, meanwhile, can be obtained from Sester Genessa. She’s located in the training grounds, which is just past a tunnel near Marrow Keep beacon.

How to utilize the parry mechanic effectively
Once you acquire the Infinite Seal, make sure you equip it via your inventory. You can also test it out against Sester Genessa before fighting hostile creatures outside.
To parry, simply press the corresponding button/keybind--i.e. “Q” key on a keyboard, “LB” on an Xbox controller, or “R1” on a PlayStation controller. You have to time your parry perfectly just as an opponent’s attack is about to land. If you did it right, the attack will be nullified, and you’ll also do a lot of break damage to your opponent.
Filling up a target’s break meter causes them to get staggered, allowing you to perform a riposte that deals tremendous damage. Oh, and bear in mind that you can’t parry unblockable attacks--i.e. those with a flashing-red-circle icon.
That does it for our guide on how to parry in Mortal Shell 2. If you’re looking for other equipment, then you might want to know where to find all shell locations and all weapon/sidearm locations.
