Been looking to get some Pokémon TCG sets at MSRP? Well, the chance doesn't come around very often. If you're fast enough, you can bag some fresh restocks of the latest expansions from Target today (September 25), as the major US retailer is going through a fresh batch of stock online.
That includes 30th anniversary sets, Pitch Black booster bundles, Ascended Heroes sticker collections, and a whole lot more.
Obviously, most of us will be hunting down the 30th Anniversary Celebration ETBs for $69.99. While Amazon has invite requests up for $89.99, that extra $20 saving wouldn't be so bad. Plus, compared to resale market prices that sit around $200 right now, either would be a result in my eyes.
But my favorite deal from the current selection is the Pitch Black booster bundle for just $31.99. While Amazon did have these down to $39.99 recently, saving that little bit extra is well worth trying for, as this is the best price I've seen on these so far this year. Six boosters included, which means you're paying just $5.31 per pack, which is a bargain in the current market.
Sticker collections for Ascended Heroes are also just $19.99, with a choice of Gastly or Charmander. Great price on both of these as well.
As a reminder as well, the restocks for each of these sets are coming in short saves right now, so even if it says it's out of stock, keep freshing to checking back in, as stock will keep appearing throughout today and possibly this weekend as well.
Amazon has recently restocked its allocation of Pokémon TCG's 30th Celebration Booster Bundles, which are currently available for just $45. That's considerably under current market rates, which sit around $122.64 at TCGplayer.
If you're struggling to add to basket, click the "See All Buying Options" prompt, and it should allow you to preorder the bundle from "Amazon.com". That's sold and shipped by Amazon, not a third-party seller.
Plus, just like Target, Amazon is restocking these in short waves, so my suggestion is to add to your wishlist and keep checking back whenever you can.
The 30th anniversary set has been remarkably hard to get hold of ever since preorders went live. The set is now officially available globally, but that doesn't mean the hunt for boosters slows down any time soon.
To nobody’s surprise, the secondary market for the new set is in absolute, unadulterated chaos. Queues have stretched out the IRL doors as long as a Cycling Lane at retailers across the world.
