Zach Cregger's Barbarian has been available to watch for a couple years, having released in Fall 2022. But for fans of physical media, it's finally coming to 4K Blu-ray for the first time. You can preorder the Barbarian Limited Edition 4K Steelbook from Amazon or Walmart before it drops August 11. It comes with a nice selection of bonus features to get insight into the horror comedy's process, including director commentary and some deleted scenes.

The Limited Edition Steelbook features the now-iconic monster and unassuming house on its cover, with the rest of the cast and production information on the reverse. When you crack open the case, you're met with an eerie silhouette of the Mother's hand and protagonist Tess (Georgina Campbell). The two-disc set includes the film on regular Blu-ray and on 4K Blu-ray, with both versions supporting Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio. The bonus features you'll get access to are:

Barbarian is director Cregger's first foray into horror and helped paved the way for his Oscar-winning next film Weapons and his take on the world of Resident Evil, releasing in theaters September 18. It follows Tess, who travels to Detroit for a crucial job interview. She arrives late to her Airbnb, unable to see just how rundown the street she's booked on truly is, to find that the house has been double-booked with Keith (Bill Skarsgård). But things aren't always as they seem, and Tess is thrust into a life-or death situation rife with scares, laughs, and moments you won't see coming.
