Klei Entertainment has unveiled a brand-new multiplayer instalment of its gloomily amusing survival series, Don't Starve. As revealed during the latest Triple-i Initiative Showcase, it's called Don't Starve Elsewhere and it promises adventure in a "strange and unforgiving new world filled with magic, monsters and mystery" as players take on their greatest opponent yet: hills. Ooh, it hasn't got a Pokemon-style mode that lets you collect a bunch of alien critters and force them to fight to the death in a fashion that might be deemed barbaric if it wasn't so bloodless and cutesy. That would've likely been my answer if you'd asked me what ever-growing No Man's Sky doesn't have at this point before I read about its latest update. Forza Horizon 6's full map has broken cover, giving folks a chance to stare, gawp, and declare 'damn, those be some roads'. Naturally, many have run to compare Playground Games' rendition of Japan to the maps of previous Horizons and having quickly done so myself, I'm still optimisting that I'll dig this vast expanse of hairpins and turns more than I did Horizon 5's very green and yellow blob. If you have been keeping a candle lit for State Of Decay 3 since its 2020 reveal trailer purely for the prospect of fighting a zombie deer then, I'm afraid, it's time to blow that candle out. Apparently, the CGI reveal trailer was made when the open-world zombie survival game was barely a concept. Six years on from the reveal, Undead Labs have a working build of the game and it doesn't feature the reanimated corpse of Bambi. Though it does let you turn a kettle into an IED. Read more
